Current:
Sono unGRATA is a collaborative duo with trumpeter and performance artist Julianna Schley (unGRATA). The name is inspired by the concept of persona non grata, and roughly translates to “I am unwelcome” or “non-welcome sound.” Our performances are thematic improvisations, with video projections and movement by Julianna. In addition to vocals, I play bass, and make extensive use of live electronic manipulation via guitar pedals and a looper.
